The Alberta Society of Islamic Fellowship is led by a group of highly educated professionals. We have collectively envisioned that our individual strengths could be further cultivated for the best purposes by helping and serving the community at large. We’re a team of highly productive, multi – tasking women who constantly brainstorm and implement classes, programs, activities, and events that alleviates the financial burdens on not only low -income families or the vulnerable people of our society, but also, middle -class families as well, by providing services either for free or for a low cost.

ASIF is a not-for-profit charitable organization established in 2020. The organization’s Mission is to empower ethnocultural communities by providing skills enhancement, so they have equal opportunities within Canadian society. The Vision is to have a well. integrated, established, and empowered ethnocultural community that fully participates. in social, cultural, civic, and economic Canadian society. The organization is. committed to serving ethnocultural communities by offering numerous services, programs, and events that build their capacity and enhances their knowledge and skills so that they combat isolation, loneliness, mental health issues, poverty, and racism and discrimination among other challenges.
Our Vision
The organization mandate is to provide programs and activities that meet the physical, emotional, moral, and intellectual needs of infants, children, youth, men, women, families, elderly and/or any individual of any community. Our programs also provide programming that supports immigrant skills development, counselling, referral services, healthy relationships, financial education, employment-related services and community connections/networking.
ASIF programs ensure that immigrants and refugees get the help and support needed in order to fully integrate into Canadian. society and have an equal opportunity for success. Our organization will be providing the essential needs to support the standard way of life, counselling for new immigrants in order to successfully adapt to the Canadian culture or providing referral services to connect them to respective resources, the climates/weather adaptability techniques, workshops to foster healthy relationships along with hosting networking events.
